What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique. Reiki is a spiritually guided energy, meaning it knows where to go to heal each client.

 

Reiki is gentle, holistic and non-invasive. It can benefit absolutely anyone! Some people use it to heal physical pain, while others use it to relax as part of their self-care routine. The main goal of each session is to help the client to relax as much as possible to allow the Reiki energy to work.

What should I plan to wear?

Plan to wear loose and comfortable clothing, or any clothes you are comfortable in as you will be laying down for the session.

How does Reiki work?

Reiki is spiritually guided lifeforce energy. It has it's own consciousness and it goes wherever healing is needed the most. It clears energetic blockages and allows for physical, mental and emotional healing.

What will happen during a session?

The client will be guided into relaxation with a short meditation. Then, Grace will use a variety of hands-off and hands-on techniques to guide Reiki to the client. Lots of people get so relaxed that they enter into a deep meditative state, or fall asleep.

How long is a session?

Sessions are usually an hour long. It is possible do do a shorter or a longer session and still get the full benefits.

Is Reiki witchcraft?

No. Though spiritual in nature, Reiki is not tied to any religion, and it is not witchcraft. People can use and receive it regardless of religion. Everyone has lifeforce energy, and Reiki is just pure healing energy being directed to the client.

How does Distance Reiki work?

Reiki is not confined by time or space and can be sent to anyone, anywhere in the world. Though the experience of an in-person and a distance session is different, the Reiki energy works just as effectively as long as the recipient is able to relax.
